As the local exchange provider in more than 70 Alaska markets, ACS provides the most reliable Local, Long Distance and other Wireline services in the state. Services include basic lines with or without feature options, digital and analog Centrex, and a variety of Trunking alternatives.

As one of the nation's most significant communications infrastructure projects this decade, ACS linked Alaska to the nation with the Alaska Oregon Network (AKORN), a high-performance undersea fiber-optic cable, designed to connect customers to global broadband networks. This build is complementary and synergistic with ACS' purchase of Crest Communications, owner and operator of the WCI Northstar cable, also connecting Alaska to the contiguous united states. When used in combination, ACS carries and manages our customers' traffic across these two uniquely diverse routes - delivering security and reliability along the way.
